Jeansonne HomeGroup
Don and Cindy have been married for 15 years. They have two children and two grandchildren. The Jeansonne are transplants from Southern California via a seven-year stint in northern Idaho. Don was tired of snowplowing, so they headed to the warmer weather in East Tennessee. They moved to Tellico Village three years ago. Participating in and leading small groups has been part of their church experience for decades. If you ask them, they will tell you how God has used small groups to transform their own lives and the lives of others. Their small group comprises joyful, active couples and singles who love Jesus and want a closer walk with Him. We learn together, we pray together, and we care about each other.

Jimmy and Bonnie grew up in East Texas, met and married in college near Dallas, and moved away to Kentucky and later Cincinnati, but happily made their way back to the South in 2023 when Jimmy retired from the pharmaceutical industry. They have been married 44 years, have six grown children who were home-educated and now live all over the US, and 14 grandchildren ages 10 and under whom they don’t see often enough. They believe home groups are vital to every believer’s life and look forward to hosting a group where they will enjoy fellowship with other followers of Jesus. They will study the Word together, serve others, pray, and have lots of conversation and fun! God abundantly answered their prayer for the community in East Tennessee, Tellico Village, and First Baptist Church, and they can’t thank Him enough.
